Hi there. I am unable to get the elauncher program to work for me. I keep getting the following error:
./elaunch: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I dug around through the forums and saw some folks having a similar issue so I tried thier solutions to no avail. I have installed the compatability files in ia32-libs.
I am running Ubuntu Breezy Bader for the amd64. Any and all help would be appreciated.

I am running Ubuntu Breezy too and remember this error message. I had to enable "universe respositories" under synaptics and install the package which name is "libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2" ( i searched for the missing file here : http://packages.ubuntu.com)
According to the site, no amd64 version exists of this file, so i suppose you'll either have to run the 32 bits version or compile it yourself.

You dont want the 64 bit versions anyway... since the client is a 32bit program.
All the development is done on Redhat and Redhat derived systems, the version of the compat library that I use is compat-libstdc++-296-2.96-132.fc4 on my Fedora Core 4 system. Sorry, I have NO idea what packages you need to install for Ubuntu... Now, that said...
http://packages.ubuntu.com/breezy/libs/libstdc++2.10-glibc2.2
MIGHT work for you, if it doesnt, let me know. (I have another way :-) but I DEFINATELY prefer to use distro specific libraries when I can.

Thanks folks. I thought that I was going crazy not being able to find that file. I've been having other issues with Ubuntu and I think it relates to the same issues I was having with Gentoo. Mainly the workarounds and tweaks that I had to do to get 32bit applications working properly under 64bit. I'm not comfortable installing a chroot for the 32bit apps yet. This box is pretty clean I will try a reinstall tonite of the x386 version when I get home from work. I hope that that will resolve my issues.
