I am running atitd on a Slackware 10.0 system. Occasionally the game suddenly exits and prints the error "File size limit exceeded" on the terminal window. It is usually after running the game for several hours, but at other times the game runs longer without a problem.

When did it start? It is probably a script error someplace. Look for the a line repeated gazzilions of times in the egenesis.bug file... Let me know what it say... (So that I can kill whatever it is :-) )

EDIT : egenesis.bug is the only file that grows without bounds (It is truncated whenever the client is restarted.) Are you one of the people that leaves the client up forever?

The line is:
GL Error: ../gscript/gsc-main.cpp(685): GL_INVALID_ENUM

The file size right now is:
1323754536

It keeps growing right now even though I am not logged in.

Thanks for your good work!

We started playing only about two weeks ago and the problem started shortly afterwards. It may have been there from the beginning.

Thanks again

Ok, Can you Please restart the client, let it get to the login screen and then quit the client, then Please email me at pluribus@pluribus.org with a copy of the egenesis.bug file...

(And for now, just add -nolog to the command line options that you use to start the game :-) It will turn off the logs... but please dont do it until AFTER ou send me the email :-) )
