...and i'd like it back.
OK, so it's going on two weeks since Pharoah came by and told me that my disappearing compound was caused by a client display bug which would take "about a day" to fix. I wasn't really expecting it to get fixed quickly. I know how these things work.
What i would like is for someone to remove one segment from the southern end of my compound so that it will become displayable again. Unfortunately it has to be a developer, because apparently Pharoah can see my compound even though i can't. However i've been unable to connect with a developer for a week now, and it's holding me up. I don't mean to whine, but i spent a month building it and i can't use it because of a bug in the code. I don't know how hard the fix is, but the workaround is dead simple. My compound is in Sinai on the west coast between the U Worship and U Body. Would someone please shorten it on the southern end?
Thanks.
I do run the LInux client which is why i'm posting here, but the impression i got was that this was a cross-platform problem. That makes sense since no other players can see my compound either, and not all of them are running Linux.
