I have an AMD Athlon 850 running Red Hat Linux WS 2 with an ATI Radeon 7000 video card and 640 MB RAM. Is there any chance ATITD 2 will run on this setup? Just curious.

Well... Technically it meets the minimum specs. However... The Radeon 7K will have to use the Mesa/DRI drivers that came with RH WS 2. Which is ancient. There are a TON of texturing issues prior to Mesa 6.1 (My understanding is that it works... I havent seen it, but there is a player running it)

Sorry, I meant Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS version 2, not the second version of their discontinued desktop version of Linux. They are currently at version 3 of RH Enterprise Linux. When you indicated something was ancient, did you mean my version of Linux or the video card? Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS version 2 was discontinued last October.
Does that make a difference with the drivers?
