newbie help - "Could not write intrinsic"

Hi All,
the scoop: running Mandrake 10.0 with 1gb ram and lotsa hdd space.
I can start the client, but just after the launcher opens and I select 'A Tale in the
Desert - English & French' and click 'Play', an information box opens with the
message 'Could not write intrinsic'. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Most likely, the user running the client doesnt have write permissions to all the files in the egyptc directory (or the directory itself) Are you attempting to run the client as the user who installed it?

I reinstalled it as my regular user and it works now, so I must have done something like you said...thanks
