Hi, I've got Fedora Core 2 and an NVIDIA with GLX support working perfectly. I run other games on this box with no trouble. glxgears gives 2200 frames per second.
When I try running eClient, I get an immediate segmentation fault, although a small patcher window does flash on the screen for about 1/10 of a second.
I've read just about all the posts on this forum, and have gleaned the following:
- I needed to install compat-libstdc++, which I did.
- I needed to say 'LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.1 ./eClient' in order to get the correct threading library.
Even after these two steps I still get the immediate segfault. Does anyone (preferably someone running Fedora 2!) have some advice on what I might be missing here?
Thanks a million, I can't wait to play!!
