Hi,

I was told that the problem with different glider flights already happened on WIN-Clients and was fixed.

Now the last two day I was adjusting my glider every point step by step... trying out almost every combination until I was sick of them :o

But finally I've finished. Calling out to my guild for a last judgement before I'll allow ratings and they see my glider crashing into the wall while I'm enjoying it making loop after loop :(

Quite frustrating after two day's of work.

So as it seems (correct me if my information is wrong) the problem was already solved on Win-Systems?
Will there ever be a Patch for the Linuxclient or shall I sell my glider port (don't wan't to install Win just for the port ;) )

Greetz and in any case thanks

Peribsen

P.S. If someone puts his attention to linux those few of us linuxusers would still appreciate the german umlaut's (sorry don't know if there's a translation).
Oh and from my judging copy&paste also doens't work right ;)

Ok enough for today ;)

Pluribus is the proper person to direct Linux client concerns toward. I'm sure he'll get to reading this, just thought you'd like to know that he's the awesome guru who allows us Linux-types to play. ;)

he .. yesterday when I switched off I thought I should have added thanks for the client ;)

I know that its his work and I'm very thankfull for it. the linux-client was the last reason to get rid off win from my PC ;) Also as it seems it'll have a comeback for ryzom soon ;)

But in any case many thanks from germany for your work Pluribus :)

The engine code is IDENTICAL (to the line) with the windows version. Literally it is 4K lines of platform specific code.

NOTE: Glider rendering is deterministic when all people viewing it are within 100 feet (6.25 coords) of the launcher.

It is a limit of the FLTK toolkit at this point, I do occasionally revisit the issue, but it is hard to test without the ability to generate those keys.

Copy from client works, paste into client doesnt. (Josh decided to do it in a distintly Windows centric way, so I get to have a ton of fun with that...)

Another note: Hang out in #atitd-linux on the stratics IRC network... (Yes, it has to stay hidden because Stratics wont let any channels that be related to any of their sponsored channels be visible.)
