Posting this just because I find it fun that it happened and I can't explain it.
At home I always started the client with 1024x768 resolution, and I got it in a window that was a bit smaller as 1027x768 is my desktop resolution and I have GNOME bars above and bellow. I would then maximize the window to cut out the music and it would be as big as possible.
Since I upgraded to GNOME 2.16, when I start the client I get a full screen ATITD window. I can't even see the GNOME bars. It has no window decorations. It's pure full screen! That type of full screen new windows users usually ask for and is said that is not possible.
I don't know why it happened, but I find it amusing. And I can see a bit more stuff.
Downsides are that I can no longer maximize window to cut off the intro music, my macros are borked because they were based on screen coords (instead of window coords) and that I can no longer see MSN(gaim, actually) windows flashing on the bar when I receive incomings.
I'll maybe one day try starting the client with smaller resolution to see if I get a window again or if it turns full screen. For now, I'm happy with the additional screen space. :happy2:
Am I the only one to whom this has happened?
(a bit more specs: gentoo ~x86, xorg 7.1, nvidia closed drivers, GNOME 2.16, running stable static ATITD client)
